Chevrolet is recalling 1,534 GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Silverado pickup trucks equipped with the manual-operated passenger seat in 2022.

The recall is effective immediately, affecting approximately 1,839 vehicles. GM has determined all vehicles do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) No. As a result, as of Oct. 19, 2022, General Motors LLC (GM) has issued 29 recalls on specific Chevrolet vehicles since 2018 for safety concerns.
