How Fast Do Rapid Chargers Work?

Apple uses USB Power Delivery to charge faster, and claims that you will get 50 percent more battery in only 30 minutes.

The speed of the charge can be up to 15 times faster than with other chargers,

and can add up to 75 percent or more of the battery in as little as 30 minutes in some cases.

Depending on an electric vehicles energy source and battery capacity,

drivers may be able to recharge the car in just as short a 30-minute period.

If the vehicle has a 10kW charger and 100kWh of battery, then theoretically, recharging the completely exhausted battery will take 10 hours.

With electric cars increasing their range quickly, and their onboard chargers being designed for larger batteries,

charging during a road trip would require slightly longer than for a gasoline-powered car.

The orientation of power is not fixed, so you will find portable battery chargers, for instance, with a USB-C port,

which you can use both to charge another device, or to recharge the battery pack itself.
