What's the process for activating wireless charging on my Silverado?

Chevy Silverado Wireless Charging stops working because charging pads malfunction, you are using an incompatible device,

or you are getting tangled up with your phone covers, metal gear, or navigation systems.

There are two problems most often that stop an Android phone wirelessly charging on a pad.

It has to come as a bit of a shock to a lot of drivers when, after purchasing a new car with plenty of upgrades

they discover their phones are not getting any charge from their wireless charging mat.

You might want to look at your devices specifications to ensure your phone is able to charge wirelessly.

Before using the wireless charger, ensure the charging surface is free from any other objects

and your car is powered on, either in accessory mode or using its stored accessory power.

For the 2016/2017/2018 Chevrolet Volt, the wireless charging mat is located in the vertical slot within the center stack

behind the cup holders. I used the Belkin 3-1 MagSafe Charger each night without any issues

and in the name of troubleshooting, tried the older Belkin charging pad that I had for several years, which worked just fine.
